Business Description
Groups of female artisans are common in indigenous communities but vary in number of members and levels within the organization. This particular group of artisans dedicates their time to crafting products of the indigenous Wounaan tradition. In the words of Jasmila, "All our lives, between other activities, we have dedicated ourselves to artisanry; but we, as mothers of families, are always thinking about the future of our children--for this, we decided to form this small group of artisans to carry out these activities that sustain our homes and raise funds to save and pay for university education for our children."
