Lodging Rules

This facility has a few extra guidelines for volunteers due to
the availability of a pool and the proximity to the beach.
We hope that all of our groups will be able to enjoy these
amenities to the fullest in a safe manner that also respects
the facility's rules:

  • The San Carlos facility charges an extra $2.50 per person
per day for access to the pool.  Global Brigades is unable
to cover this charge, so volunteers should come prepared
with these funds if they wish to use the pool.
  • Volunteers that choose to use the pool must wear a
bathing suit (no shorts and no t-shirts), and those with
long hair must wear swimming caps.
  • No food will be allowed in the pool area.
  • Loud music is prohibited.
