Zapallal Medical Access
Zapallal sits near the Panamerican Highway, in the Darien
Province of Eastern Panama. The road quality in this area is average
and the nearest health center, Santa Fe, is located only 5 minutes
away by car. Although the Santa Fe is fairly accessible, lack of
funding and support often leaves the health center lacking medications and
sufficient staff.
