Current Community Initiatives
Household Rainwater Harvesters are currently being built through the Water Program. There are over 40 Household Rainwater Harvesters in the community. Household latrines are currently being contructed as well through the Public Health Initiative.
The CDF currently offers only savings, yet have a relatively high number of accounts and capital. No susu groups are active in the community and can be attributed to the fact that the CDF is widely used. The CDF leaders are proactive and motivated. The community would need to be educated extensively before loans are introduced for social enterprises and individuals.
