San Antonio de Oriente Healthcare Access

San Antonio de Oriente is a community located in the municipality of Francisco Morazán. The community has access to a local health known as a CESAR, the smaller of two types of health centers that the Honduran government provides. It only has one permanent nurse and rarely ever a doctor on duty. Should a visitor to the health center require more medical attention than can be given at the center, community members can travel by 1.5 hours by bus to the hospital in Tegucigalpa.
