Rio Iglesia Medical Access
Rio Iglesia sits right off a local paved road, about 30 minutes from the
Panamerican Highway. The surrounding area is very hilly which can
make access challenging for vehicles without four-wheel drive. The
nearest health center, Meteti, is located about 30 minutest away by
car. Although the Meteti is fairly accessible by bus, lack of funding and
support often leaves the health center lacking medications and
sufficient staff.
