Buenos Aires Medical Access
Buenos Aires sits right off the Panamerican Highway, in the Darien
Province of Eastern Panama. The road quality in this area is very poor
which can make access challenging for vehicles without four-wheel
drive. The nearest health center, Meteti, is located about 30 minutes
away by car. Although the Meteti health center is fairly accessible by bus, lack of
funding and support often leaves the health center lacking medications
and sufficient staff.
