Passionate About:
Hello Family & Friends! As you probably know, I am studying premedicine & psychology at the University of Dayton in hopes of someday becoming a physician. My intentions for becoming a doctor are centered entirely around my passion & love for helping others. Last year, I was able to go to Nicaragua with my fellow pre-meds & physicians for a Medical & Public Health Brigade! We set up a FREE health care clinic, where we helped over 500 men, women, and children. Additionally, we worked in communities to lay concrete floor in their homes, & build hygeine stations, latrines, & sustainable septic tanks. My heart & my mind grew SO much that I applied for this expedition again & have been accepted! With this being said, my service comes with an enormous fee in order to make it down to Nicaragua. My parents are currently helping me apply for medical school, which has thus far totaled to around $1,500. I know that they cannot take on sponsoring my service learning opportunity this year. It would mean the world to me if any & all friends/family could help sponsor this incredible opportunity for me to help those that are so unimaginably underserved. I would love to continue striving toward making a difference in the world. With love & gratitude, Bree
