I am passionate about helping people the best way I can, each community at a time. The money raised will help me go to Honduras with GlobalBrigades. We are going Honduras because there is a lack of financial institutions and 5 in 6 people in rural Honduras do not have access to loans. Another fact is that 24.3% of the population receives less than $1 a day. I will be a microfinance volunteer, which is a person that works with businesses to give out small loans, create bank accounts, and basic financial literacy. I would be able to help a farmer double production, through the loan.
