"I take delight in making a difference from a minuscule scale in my community to the ends of the world." ---Bithiah Sam I am a native Ghanaian, born and raised in Ghana. I behold the kind of passion which enables me to take charge and do something concerning public health. For that reason, I aspire to become an international doctor. I am personally passionate about this trip, because a few years ago my grandfather was admitted to one of the biggest hospitals in Ghana. During his time in the hospital there were a few doctors on duty, so he didn't receive the best medical care. One weekend, with only a few doctors, attending to other patients, he had a stroke in his hospital bed and died.
