Over the course of my time in health care and now in PA school, one of the quotes that keeps me grounded in my passion when the work gets tough is "Helping people at their most vulnerable time is a privilege." I hold this near and dear to my heart, whether it be the homeless population, underdeveloped countries, or with the patients in the ICU with whom I someday hope to work.
