Passionate About:

Having been raised in the Lawndale and Austin communities on the west side of the city, I lived the definitions of the phrases, "health disparities" and "food deserts". I was fortunate enough, however, to be born into a family of men and women who were blessed, hardworkers who saw to it that my siblings and i didn't want for anything. Unfortunately, most of the residents of these neighborhoods can't say the same and with lack of education, unstable living situations, greasy spoon restaurants lining the avenues and pricey medical care, many of them lead unhealthy, difficult lives. My goal is to become a primary care provider and put a dent in this cycle. I may only be one man, but hey, change has got to start somewhere, right? (^_^)
