Passionate About:

Service is very important to me. My entire life, I have seen my family (my parents especially) work tirelessly so that I would never have to worry about simple necessities like shelter or food. I was also lucky enough to grow up in an environment where school and education were not only valued, but realities for anyone who worked hard enough. I feel compelled to give back to others who were not born into fortunate situations as mine or live in impoverished conditions where it is extremely hard to break these cycles of hardships. As I look forward to going to Honduras under the Global Medical Brigades' chapter of BU, I am hopeful that I can use my passion for service, as well as medicine, in order to make an impact which lasts beyond the 7 days I am physically present. During the brigade, I also look forward to the prospect of allowing myself to be impacted by the Hondurans, their culture, and their different outlook on healthcare. I am thankful for absolutely all kinds of support that you are able to contribute for this trip, whether it be in the form of sharing this page, monetary donations, medical donations, or prayers as I embark on this journey.
