Flight Booking

Booking Through Global Brigades

All volunteers have the opportunity to book flights through Global Brigades. Booking through Global Brigades allows volunteers to fundraise for the flight they will utilize to to join us on-the-ground to see their fundraising efforts put into action. Your Brigade Leader will facilitate all communications with travel agents when booking through Global Brigades. Booking Independently from Global Brigades

Volunteers that prefer to book flights on their own MUST submit their intended itinerary PRIOR to purchasing a ticket to their Brigade Leader in order to receive approval from Global Brigades staff. All itineraries must be submitted for approval no later than 60 days before the brigade.

Passports & Visas

Is is the responsibility of each volunteer to secure a valid passport and any visas required to travel to their destination country. All passports MUST be valid for at least 6 months after the intended brigade. Please contact your local embassy or consulate to determine if there are visa requirements that apply to your nationality and destination country. View Details >>

Lodging Facilities

Groups are typically assigned to a lodging facility 1-2 weeks before the brigade. Assignments are made based on group size, proximity to the community in which the group will be working during the day, etc. View Facilities >>
